The sheer diversity of what the Department of Community and Children’s Service (DCCS) is responsible for is something to behold.
The DCCS team delivers housing, education, social care and community services for the approximately 8,760 residents of the Square Mile. We also have estates in six other London boroughs and provide public health, leisure, community libraries and adult education services for residents there and the 513,000 people who work in the City.
We’re also responsible for maintaining and repairing our existing properties.
Our mission is to provide care, support and guidance to our diverse communities. We’re here to keep people safe, help them achieve their potential and live independent lives, enjoy good health and wellbeing and feel part of the community.
